Domer, Ramona Martha (Marriage - 27 Sept. 1946)

On Thursday afternoon, September 27, occurred the marriage of Miss Ramona Martha Domer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Domer, Spencer, and Russell Bruhn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Bruhn, Marshfield, Route 1. The ceremony was read in St. John’s Lutheran Church at Nasonville. The Rev. Mr. Milleville read the marriage vows for the double ring service and Mrs. Milleville played the wedding march and sang "Because" and "O Perfect Love."

Attendants were Miss Arlene Bruhn and Kenneth Gurley, Hammond, Ind., whose wedding took place later that same day, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wolf, and Caralee Bruhn, sisters and brother-in-law of the groom, and Orville Domer, the bride’s brother.

The bride’s gown was designed with a satin bodice embroidered with white sequins and a long full chiffon skirt ending in a train. Long sleeves ended at points over her wrists. Her long net veil, inserted with lace, was caught to a white sequin crown, and she carried a shower bouquet of lilies, roses and baby breath tied with white satin streamers.

The two weddings were celebrated together after the second ceremony, with a supper for 75 guests served at the Bruhn home.

Mrs. Bruhn was graduated from the Unity, Wis. High School with the classmates of 1943 and Mr. Bruhn attended the McKinley High School at Marshfield.

The bride had been employed at the Weinbrenner Shoe factory at Marshfield.

They will make their home with the groom’s parents on Route 1, Marshfield.

The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
