(The micro-film copy of this obituary was poor because some of the left side was cut off, so some of the words/names could not be identified)

Friends were saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. F.A. Schoenfeld, who passed away at her home in the town of Mayville (Clark Co., Wis.) Sunday afternoon, March 27th, 1932. Death was due to old age and minor ailments from which she had been suffering the past few years. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Evangelical Peace Church with Rev. Kalwitz officiating and interment was made in the Union Cemetery (Memorial North).

Christiane Caroline Leuchner was born Feb. 5, 1839 in Radeburg, near ??den, Germany, and was 93 years, 1 month and 22 days old at time of death. On Ja. 18, 1863 she was united in marriage to Fred Schoenfeld at Radeburg, Germany, where they lived until coming to the United States in 1881, when they settled in the town of Rib Lake. In 1892 they moved from there to their present home in the town of Mayville. Eight children were born to this union, five of whom preceded their mother in death. Mrs. Schoenfeld leaves three sons, Max, Charles and Richard, to mourn her departure.

One of the old settlers, Mrs. Schoenfeld lived to enjoy the many ?mages that come after pioneer-? And to see the multitude of changes in the surrounding country as it became more settled. During her many years she made a host of friends who shall greatly miss her. The Clarion joins the friends in offering sincerest sympathy to the mourning ones.
