Tamborino, Agnes (28 JUN 1902 - 28 AUG 1929)

Agnes Tamborino, beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Tamborino, died Aug. 28th, 1929, after a six year losing fight with tuberculosis, at Denver, Colo., at the age of 27 years, 2 months. The remains were brought here (Dorchester, Clark Co., Wis.) and laid at rest from the St. Louis Catholic Church, Tuesday morning, Sept. 3, Rev. Paul Pitzenberger officiating and Carl Mertens, Arnold Schober, Edward Werner, Max Sebold, Roman and Norbert Wuest, acting as pallbearers.

Agnes was born at Le Sauer Center, Minn., June 28, 1902 and came to Dorchester when she was practically grown up, with her parents and other members of her family. She clerked a long time at the Co-Operatives store and made a host of friends by her pleasing, obliging manner, and always seemed so pleased to do anything she could for anyone.

Then ill health came and she was obliged to stop work and went to the sanitarium expecting to be soon strong and well again, but in spite of all that love and medicine could do, she got no better. As a last resort she was sent to Colorado several years ago and it was thought for a time that she might get well, but finally the dread disease won and she slipped away where there is no more sin or sorrow.

Besides her parents and the younger children at home, the following sisters were here for her funeral, Lorraine Tamborino of St. Paul, Inez Tamborino of Milwaukee, Mrs. Martin Weix and Mrs. Wm. Kriplean and their husbands, of Colby.

The Clarion joins a host of friends in offering sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
