Hoffman, Margaret C. (5 JUN 1929)

Margaret Caroline Hoffman, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Hoffman, Sr., and Joseph Hiebsch, son of Mrs. M. Baehm of the town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), were married Wednesday morning at St. Louis Catholic Church, Rev. Pitzenberger officiating. The bride was attended by her sister, Marion Hoffman, Irene Bauernfiend and Helen Stasek, and the groom by Melvin Kaufman of Texas, a nephew of the bride, and Emil and Paul Stasek.

The bride was beautifully attired in a white georgette gown, flare skirt and daintily beaded, a shimmering veil, and carried a magnificent bouquet of white roses, while the bridesmaids wore gowns of the lovely soft pastel shades, Marion’s a dainty pale yellow, Irene’s an exquisite pale green georgette, and Helen’s a lovely pink georgette and all wore bands of brilliants in their hair. The little flower girl, Delia Hoffman, wore a creation of blue georgette and all carried lovely bouquets of white carnations and snap dragons and made altogether a beautiful picture as they gathered about the ride. The gentlemen all wore conventional blue, except the best man who wore a neat gray suit and added much to the picture we have already portrayed.

After the ceremony they repaired to the home of the bride’s parents where a bountiful wedding breakfast was served. Shortly after this the bride and groom left for a short trip, their first stop to be at Tony, Wis. They will soon be at home to their many friends on the groom’s farm northwest of Curtiss (Clark Co.).

Margaret is a splendid young woman with a host of friends here who join us in wishing the best of everything to the young couple. Mr. Hiebsch, a nephew of F. V. Hiebsch, is not much known here, but we’ll trust Margaret to pick a winner.

The guests at the wedding were George Hoffman, Hortonville, Frank Hoffman and family, Weyauwega, Max Hoffman, Jr., and family, Weyauwega, Jos. Fisher and son, Louis of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Christ Jirshele, Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ettle, Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bauernfiend and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Feldebrugge and family, Mr. and Mrs. L. Hamm, Mrs. Mary Baehm and son, Frank, Oscar Hiebsch and family and Father Pitzenberger.
