I found this so far.

A Katherine Giwojna, daughter of Vincent Giwojna and Antonette Bogdankewicz, was born in Poland, met Joseph Zielanis of Vilnus, Lithuania, and they imigrated to the U.S. and got married in Wisconsin. Another source says that he was Catholic, his vilage was Cherviany, Province Survaniskaya, country; Lithuania(occupied by Russia). He was in the Russian military in 1897. Also, my grandfather, Joseph Giwojna is someone that I do not know anything about, as to where he came from.
