Williams, Grace (? - 31 Dec. 1940)

Dr. and Mrs. H. W. Housley attended the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Grace Williams which was held at Milwaukee, January 3rd. Services were held at the Thomas, Jones & Olson chapel, interment taking place in the town of Waldo, Sheboygan County, Wis.

Mrs. Williams passed away at the Columbia Hospital December 31st after a six week illness. She was born near Waldo. She attended the Plymouth (Wis.) Normal school, later teaching at that institution for three years. In 1915, she was graduated from Marquette University School of Nursing, then operating in connection with Trinity Hospital. In September of that year she was married to Dr. Robert L. Williams, superintendent of the state tuberculosis sanitarium at Wales, Wis.; where they made their home. Dr. Williams passed away in 1922.

After the death of her husband, Mrs. Williams returned to Milwaukee, where she held a position as public health nurse for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Robert and Lloyd, a daughter, Winifred, a stepson, Lester Williams, Green Lake, Wis., her mother, Mrs. Ida Parrish, Sheboygan Falls; three brothers, Robert, Gordon and Rexford Parrish, Sheboygan Falls; and two sisters, Mrs. H. W. Housley, Neillsville, and Mrs. Robert Riesz, Chatham, N. J.
