Macava, Mary (27 APR 1937)

A very pretty wedding ceremony was solemnized at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Tuesday morning, April 27, 1937, when Mary Macava, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Macava, became the bride of Eugene Becker, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Becker. Rev. Father Brady performed the ceremony.

The bride wore a gown of white satin, with a short veil, and carried a bouquet of bridal roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Mary Havatin, were a gown of light blue chiffon. The groom was attended by Frank Macava, brother of the bride.

Following the ceremony a breakfast was served to sixty relatives at the home of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Becker will make their home on a farm near Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).

Those from out-of-town who attended the ceremony were: Frank, John, and Frances Macava, and Mary, Anna, and Frank Havatin, Louis Novak, and Fred Kovatch, all of Chicago.
