Gries, Katherine E. (23 JUN 1920)

The marriage of Miss Katherine E. Gries and Mr. Andrew Lindner was solemnized at the Catholic Church Wednesday morning, June 23, 1920, at ten o’clock, Rev. Achtlich officiated.

The bride is one of Greenwood’s (Clark Co., Wis.) choicest and most accomplished young ladies. She combines in a rare degree all those qualities, practical and ideal, fitting her for a helpful place in the home and in the social life of the community. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gries.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Math Lindner Sr., and has spent the greater part of his life here. He is a highly respected and industrious young man of sterling qualities.

A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents at six o’clock, after which the guests were entertained at the opera house.

The couple will make their home on the groom’s farm near Greenwood.

The Gleaner extends best wishes and congratulations.
