Hubbard, Nancy (September 7, 1953 - December 31, 2006)

Nancy Hubbard, age 53, of N14943 Hart Ave. Stanley, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, WI. A Christian Burial Mass will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic church, Stanley, WI with Fr. Robert Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Stanley, WI. Friends and family may call on Thursday evening from 4-8 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Chapel. Plombon Funeral Service Stanley, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.

Nancy was born September 7, 1953 in Chippewa Falls, WI, the daughter of Herbert & Clara (Cannon) Konsella. She grew up in the Stanley-Boyd area and graduated from the Cadott High School in 1973. She then worked for Winarczyk Ford in Thorp, WI. On October 15, 1977 she was united in marriage to Bill Hubbard at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Stanley, WI and resided in the Town of Thorp. Over the years Nancy worked at IKE International, Rose Mary Thyme Restaurant, and the Comforts of Home in Chippewa Falls, WI. Nancy always said her children were her life and she also loved all of her special pets and was known for "All her Diamonds".

She is survived by her husband, Bill of Stanley, WI; daughters: Mary Ann (Ryan) Fried of Beaufort, SC and Heather Hubbard of Eau Claire, WI; two sisters: Carol (Leonard) Gort of Sheboygan Falls, WI and Kathy "Kitty" (Carl) Zajack of Thorp, WI; and one brother, James (Roxie) Konsella of Stanley, WI; many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kevin; one brother, Tom and two nieces: Lacey and Amanda.
