Roehl, Stella (14 JUL 1888 - 24 MAY 1947)

Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) - Mrs. Otto Roehl, 58, route 1, Greenwood, died Saturday at Colonial Hospital, Rochester, where she was a patient the past two weeks. Embolism caused her death.

Funeral services will be held at 1 o’clock at the Roehl home and at 2 o’clock at the Loyal Methodist Church, with burial following in the Loyal Cemetery. The Rev. Lee Holmes will have charge of the rites. The body is lying in state at the home.

Mrs. Roehl was born at Pittsville July 14, 1888, the former Stella Mae Covey. She was married Sept. 6, 1917, in Loyal to Otto Roehl. She came to Loyal with her parents as a child, attended Loyal schools, and was graduated from Loyal High School. She lived on a farm since 1911.

Mrs. Roehl, a member of the Royal Neighbors of America of Loyal and the Methodist Church, is survived by her husband; her father, A.L. Covey, who resided with her; and three brothers, Lee Covey, Port Edwards; Marvin Covey, Lodi; and Glen Covey, Pittsville. Her mother died in 1917.
