Haines, Anna (14 JUN 1947)

Miss Anna Haines, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Haines, Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Arvin Liebzeit, son of Mrs. Clara Liebzeit, Greenwood. The Rev. J. C. Klingeberger read the wedding service Saturday afternoon, June 14, 1947, at 2 o’clock. The double ring ceremony was performed in the Immanuel Evangelical Reformed Church, Greenwood.

Miss Rebecca Haines, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and was dressed in a turquoise gown of shadow sheer material with a nylon top. Mrs. Norman Reineking, friend of the couple, was bridesmaid, and wore a dusty rose gown of shadow sheer material. Each carried a bouquet of roses with matching flowers in her hair.

Glenn Haines, brother of the bride, was best man, and Norman Reineking was an attendant. Eugene Haines and Norman Liebzeit, brothers of the bride and groom, respectively, were ushers.

The bride wore a white gown with a fitted bodice, gathered skirt ending in a long train, long sleeves, and a finger-tip veil. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and lilies of the valley.

A reception was held at the Merchants Hotel, Neillsville, at 5 o’clock, with a wedding supper served to 65 guests. A dance was held at the Silver Dome Ballroom the same evening.

The bride and groom took a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, and will reside on a farm at Greenwood, where the groom is in partnership with his brother.
