Redetzke, Mayme (2 OCT 1946)

Wearing a white nylon and net wedding dress made with a long train, and a finger tip veil of illusion edged with lace and caught to a beaded crown, Miss Nina Redetzke, Stratford (Marathon Co., Wis.), became the bride of Vincent Lindner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Linder, Loyal (Clark Co.). The nuptial ceremony was read by the Rev. J.J. Novak, Oct. 2, 1946, at 9 a.m., in St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Greenwood.

The bride completed her costume with a pearl necklace and earrings. Her shower bouquet was composed of chrysanthemums.

Lorna Redetzke, Rita Lindner, sisters of the bride and the groom, and Lois Hein, San Jose, Calif., attended the bride. The groom’s attendants were Robert Lindner, the groom’s brother, and his two cousins, Frank Lindner and Carl Lindner, Loyal.

The maid of honor wore a white marquisette frock and the bridesmaids were attired in pink and blue dresses. Matching bonnets completed their costumes and they wore shoulder corsages of carnations.

After the wedding, breakfast was served to the bridal party at the home of the groom’s parents. During the day a reception was held at the Redetzke home and that evening a dance was held at Walter’s Pavilion at Colby.

Mrs. Lindner was graduated from the Unity, Wis. High School with the class of 1944 and has been employed by the Marathon Electric Co. at Wausau. Since his discharge from Army service, Mr. Lindner is engaged in farming. They will reside on route 2 near Loyal.

Guests were present from Loyal, Greenwood, Wausau, Manitowoc, St. Nazianz, Kiel, and Neillsville, Wis.
