Murphy, Mary D. (22 NOV 1945)

Now on a two weeks’ wedding trip in the East are James Neuenfeldt, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Neuenfeldt, of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and his bride, the former Miss Mary Dorothy Murphy, of Branchdale, Pa. The wedding ceremony was read Nov. 22, at 9 a.m., in St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Greenwood with the Rev. J. Novak officiating.

For the occasion the bride wore a tan gabardine suit and matching feathered calot. She had an orchid corsage pinned to her shoulder and her pearls were a gift of the groom. Her sister attendant, Miss Catherine M. Murphy, also of Branchdale, was attired in a green suit with brown accessories and her corsage was composed of gardenias.

Albert P. Neuenfeldt was his brother’s best man.

Following the ceremony 14 of the immediate relatives and closest friends were entertained at breakfast at Wehrman’s Restaurant, where the table was centered with a large wedding cake and bowls of cut flowers.

Mrs. Neuenfeldt was graduated from the Branchdale High School and the Pottsville, Pa., Business College, and has been employed by the Phillip and Jones Corp. at Pottsville. Her husband was a student at Central State Teachers College at the time of his induction into military service where he served as a technical sergeant with the Air Corps for 44 months, 30 of which were spent overseas in England and France. He was graduated from the Greenwood High School with the class of 1936 and was affiliated with Chi Delta Rho fraternity while at college. After the Christmas holidays, he plans to return to Stevens point to complete his studies.

Guests from away were Miss Rosetta Hillier and Miss Harriet O’Connell, Fox Lake.
