Flint, Elva J. (April 25, 1915 - November 28, 2006)

Elva J. Flint (nee Lloyd), age 91, of Lomira, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center.

She was born April 25, 1915, in Neillsville, to the late Edwin and Hattie (nee Wells) Lloyd and married Paul R. Flint on April 24, 1934 in Neillsville, Wis. Paul preceded her in death on July 10, 1987.

Elva and Paul settled in Richfield shortly after their marriage where they raised their family. After Paul’s death, Elva moved to Kewaskum and for the last three years was a resident of the Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira.

Survivors include two children, Bonnie Wendelborn, of Kewaskum, and Barbara (Russ) Wagenknecht, of West Bend, and six grandchildren: Mike (Kim) Wendelborn and Stephen (Chris) Wendelborn, both of Kewaskum; Jane (Al) Mayer, of West Bend; Julie (Scott) Wanke, of Jackson; Richard Wagenknecht, of West Bend; and Wade Wagenknecht, of Slinger. She is further survived by nine great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Mary Flint, of Slinger, and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Elva was preceded in death by her son Jack; two grandsons, Jeff Flint and David Wendelborn; her son-in-law Ron Wendelborn and 11 siblings.

Private funeral services were held at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with burial following in Washington County Memorial Park.
