McConnell, Charlotte M. (12 AUG 1875 - 2 OCT 1936)

Rites were conducted Monday afternoon at the Methodist-Episcopal Church for Mrs. James McConnell, 61, who died of cancer at her home at Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) early Friday morning. Burial took place at the Greenwood Cemetery, and the Rev. C. R. Gaylord officiated at the services.

Mrs. McConnell, nee Charlotte Martha Cox, was born Aug. 12, 1875, at Greenwood, where she received her education. Her first husband was Stanley Stoneburg, who died May 24, 1915. In 1917 she moved to Montana where she resided until 1920. A second marriage to James McConnell, who survives her, took place March 17, 1921.

Surviving besides her husband are two stepchildren, Miss Gertrude McConnell, St. Paul, and James McConnell Jr., Greenwood; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Cook, Washington; and five brothers, George and Fred, Canada, Ephraim, Owen, and Ski and Ernest, Greenwood.

Pallbearers were Hugo Lenz, Otto Roehl, Lige Niman, Albert Mathison, Henry Mathison, and Chet Shields.

Relatives from out of town who attended the funeral included Miss Gertrude McConnell, St. Paul; Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Cox, Janesville; Mrs. Mary Brown, Illinois; Mrs. Ivan Stoneburg, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Breheim, and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Stoneburg, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Cox, Owen; Mrs. Gertrude Stoneburg Koepke, Ogema; Alfred Grim, Fairchild; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Mathews, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Schlicter, Humbird; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Roth, Augusta; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Engedal, Eau Claire; and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rosenbaum, Strum
