Schofield, Albert (7 NOV 1859 - 23 FEB 1943)

Funeral services for Albert Schofield, 83, who died of a heart attack Feb. 23, 1943 at his home, 10 miles northwest of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Schiller Funeral Home.

The Rev. Alex J. Abbott, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, officiated, and interment was made in the Spencer Cemetery. During the services Ilene and Irene Abbott, with Mrs. William A. Olson as accompanist, sang "Face to Face" and "Rock of Ages."

Pallbearers were Theodore and Ed Kippenhan, Charles Krapf, Lafe Gallan, Joseph Boh, and Ray Hawley.

Albert Schofield, son of Hiram and Mary Elisabeth (Niel) Schofield, was born Nov. 7, 1859, in Grant County and was married June 18, 1893, to Sarah Ann Wilson of the Town of Sherman (Clark Co.), where they made their home until coming to their present home nine years ago.

Surviving are his wife and seven children, Mrs. Harry Pattison, Viewfield, Saskatchewan, Canada, Byron Schofield and Mrs. Raymond Miller, Town of Sherman; and Robert, Percy, Clayton, and Alvin Schofield, at home. Three children preceded him in death.
