Poppe, Grace (22 FEB 1941)

Miss Grace Poppe, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Poppe of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Raymond G. Bruckman, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bruckman of Chicago, exchanged vows at St. Norbert’s Church in Chicago at 4 o’clock Saturday afternoon, Feb. 22, 1941. The Rev. Father Manning read the rites.

The bride was attired in a light blue gown with matching hat and black accessories. She wore a shoulder corsage of white gardenias. Miss Janice Opdycke of Chicago attended as bridesmaid in a navy blue gown and hat with gray accessories and a shoulder corsage of gardenias. John Bruckman attended the groom as best man.

Mrs. Bruckman was graduated from thee Greenwood High School in 1938, and has been employed in Chicago for the past year. A reception was held at the home of the bridegroom’s parents for 25 close relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruckman will make their home in Chicago, where the former is employed as a tool and die maker.
