A total of 312 loaves of bread were sold to customers at Hart & Son’s Red & White opening last Saturday.

Coffe and lunch was served all day.

In the prize offerings, Mrs. Elsberner received a sack of flour, Walter Matthews, the two pounds of coffee, and Henry Laffe, the combination prize.

Charles Elger, according to a letter (to) his father, is putting in a big farm of corn and wheat this year. He is located at Hay Springs, Nebr., near the Wyoming line.

Former principal R. L. Webster of Spencer and Principal Glenn Hart of Granton high school, were visitors with friends in town last Saturday.

W. F. Hein and wife, Mrs. Phillips, and E. Bieiler and family drove to Westby last Sunday for a visit with Wm. Crume and family.

I. C. Sobezak (Sobcyak) and family were visitors last Sunday with their relatives in Eau Claire and Altoona.

Mr. and Mrs. C. Reich from Osseo, spent Sunday at the Delano home.

A new roof was put on the south side of the M. E. church last Monday, a volunteer crew doing the work.
