(Black River Falls Banner-Journal)

Jeorgen T. Holmgreen of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), who was visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Holmgreen, of this city, passed away suddenly Friday noon, March 29, 1935, as the result of a heart attack. He came from Owen recently to attend the funeral of the late Nicholas Nichols, and had remained for a visit. He has shown no signs of illness and had been working in the yard at the home of his sister, Mrs. Albert Rendig, during the forenoon. His death came as a great shock to his family and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Holmgreen residence Sunday, Rev. A.M. Romstad officiating. The remains were taken to his home at Owen, where burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.

Jeorgen son of Thomas and Lizzie Holmgreen, was born July 27, 1900, at Frenchville. He was married on May 26, 1926, to Edith Bonk of Owen, and had since made his home there. His widow and one daughter, Jane Elaine, survive and mourn his loss, also one son, Donald, a son of a former marriage. He also leaves to mourn his loss, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Holmgreen of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Julian Severson of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. Albert Rendig of this city; and one brother, Edwin Holmgreen, besides other relatives and many friends.
