Death of Mrs. J. W. Vogel

Mrs. John W. Vogel, resident of Humbird for several years, while Mr. Vogel was owner of the drug store, passed away at her home, 4255 Bryant Ave.. Minneapolis, on June 8, after a long illness.

Mrs. Vogel had been confined to her bed since last January, and was in the hospital seven weeks. The third week in May she was taken home, knowing the end was near.

Mrs. Vogel is survived by her husband, two daughters, Miss Vivian, and Mrs. Marguerite Harper, and one grandson, Richard Harper, all of Minneapolis. Funeral services were held with burial at Emmetsburg, Iowa on June 8.

Mrs. Vogel was a lady much loved by all who knew her during her residence in our midst, and the sympathy of all these friends goes to the ones who are mourning her death. Mr. Vogel had been seriously ill and was convalescing from a major operation when his wife was taken ill last Januarary.
