Phil Pawlak, age 82, Sun City West, Arizona passed away March 26, 2004.

Phil was born in Thorp July 2, 1921 but moved to California in about 1936 when his parents relocated to South Gate, CA. He was the son of Frank Pawlak and Mary Zuzelski and was married to Doris. California was their home until 1988 when they moved to Arizona.

Phil was a U. S. Army WWII veteran, discharged April 11, 1946. When he returned from the Army, he worked for the United States Steel Company, American Bridge Division in Maywood, California.

A daughter, Sandra Gayle, died at the age of 23.

He remains are at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Northwest Phoenix, Arizona.
