Whitney, Florence M. (3 JUN 1937)

A very quiet wedding was solemnized Wednesday morning, June 3, 1937, at nine o’clock at the Methodist Episcopal Church Parsonage when Miss Florence M. Whitney and Mr. Daniel Castner were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. R. J. Fleming performing the ceremony.

Both the bride and groom are well known in Loyal and the surrounding community as both were born here and grew to manhood and womanhood in our midst. Mr. Castner has continuously followed his chosen work and today is one of our most successful farmers. Mrs. Castner has made her home here for the past sixteen years and for much of that time served our community as one of our most accommodating telephone operators.

After a touring trip through northern Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Castner will be with us again residing in their pleasant home in our village.

Their many friends wish a useful, happy life for Mr. and Mrs. Castner.
