At a quiet ceremony Saturday, May 8, 1937 at 10 o’clock at Waukegan, Ill., Lila Marie Stenman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Stenman of Owen became the bride of Gerald E. Luther, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Luther of Greenwood, Wis.

The bride was attired in a hyacinth blue and cerise afternoon dress with blue accessories and wore a corsage of white tea roses.

Her sister Miss Helya Stenman of Horicon, was bridesmaid and wore a powder blue and rose dress, with grey accessories. She wore a corsage of blue sweet peas and pink tea roses.

The bridegroom wore an oxford grey suit. His attendant was Mr. Fritz A. Schold of Wilmette, Ill.

The bridal party drove to Niles Center where a wedding breakfast was served at the Swedish Castle.

Returning to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Evans, 735 Walden Rd. Winetka, Ill., a reception and tea was held in their honor, after which Mr. and Mrs. Luther left for Lake Mills, Wis., to spend a few days with Mr. Luther’s grandmother, Mrs. Kate Cornwell.

The Tribune joins the many friends of the newly weds in wishing them much happiness.
