Eisenhart, Emma M. (18 OCT 1865 - 11 JAN 1926)

The funeral of Mrs. Jacob Eisenhart, who died Monday, after a short illness, was held at her late home in the town of Garden Valley (Jackson, Co., Wis.) on Thursday afternoon, and was attended by a large number of sorrowing friends and relatives. Rev. C.F. Klein of the Free Methodist Church, preached the funeral sermon. Burial was in the Garden Valley Cemetery. The sympathy of all is with the husband and sons bereft of a loving and untiring wife and mother, and the relatives who mourn her death.

Emma Margaret Smith was born in Missouri, Oct. 18, 1865. She came with her parents to Wisconsin, locating in this vicinity, where she grew to womanhood. On Dec. 17, 1896, she was united in marriage with Mr. Jacob Eisenhart of this village (Humbird, Clark Co., Wis.), and they made their home on a nearby farm until seventeen years ago, when they located on the farm in Garden Valley, which has since been their home. To Mr. and Mrs. Eisenhart were born three sons, Harry, Charles and Ray, who, with the husband, mourn her death. She is survived by four brothers, Albert, Charles, Steve and Frank Smith.

Mrs. Eisenhart was 60 years, 2 months and 23 days of age at the time of her death
