Eva Bomback

Eva D. Bomback, 79, of Aurora, Ill., died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at Rush-Copley Hospital, Aurora.

Funeral services will be at 11 a. m. Wednesday, Sept., 20, at Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation from 10 a. m. until service time. Burial will follow at Greenwood City Cemetery.

Eva Delaine Orsburn was born Nov. 8, 1926, to Bud and Ruth (Thomas) Orsburn. She married Eugene Bomback at Grace United Methodist Church, Greenwood, on Nov. 9, 1946. The couple eventually settled in Aurora, Ill., where Eva worked at Simpson Electric for many years. She loved music, and wrote and recorded her own songs.

Eva is survived by her husband, Eugene; daughters, Gloria (Gene) Noack, Rock Falls, Ill., and Diane (Don) Ladenberger, Geneva, Ill.; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Bernard (Pearl) Orsburn, Withee.
