Miss Margaret I. Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Williams of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Orville A. Laabs, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Laabs, in a ceremony performed by the Rev. W.P. Powell of Owen, at the home of the bride’s parents, which was decorated for the occasion in green and white cut flowers.

Preceding the ceremony Miss Lorraine Lupient sang, "O Promise Me" and "I Love You Truly."

The bride wore a gown of brown velvet with brown accessories and carried a bridal bouquet of roses. Miss Amelia Bannach, a friends of the bride, wore black velvet with black accessories and carried a bouquet of carnations. The groom was attended by his cousin, Norman Marquardt, as best man.

Following the ceremony a six o’clock dinner was served for immediate relatives. Covers were laid for 10.

The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford, Wis. High School and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing at Marshfield, class of 1931. The groom holds the position as bookkeeper for the Laabs Cheese Co.

Mr. and Mrs. Laabs left on a weeks wedding trip to Chicago and on their return will make their home in Curtiss, Wis.
