Fraser, John (18 Oct. 1846 - 1938)

John Fraser, 92, passed away Thursday morning, December 1, at St. Joseph’s hospital where he had been a patient nearly a week. He suffered a fractured hip and complications caused his death.

Mr. Fraser was born at Litchfield, Mich., October 18, 1846. He was married to Miss Mary Strong November 9, 1873, who preceded him in death about 15 years ago.

Mr. Fraser was a resident of the Chili vicinity for about 40 years. He leaves to mourn his loss Edward Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; George, Elroy; John Jr., Alder, Wash.; Earl, Marshfield; Cora, Mrs. Herman Henning, Marshfield; Jessie, Mrs. J. A. Chambers, St. Paul.

Mr. Fraser had made his home the past few years with his son, Earl. The funeral as held Monday afternoon, December 5, at the Evangelical church in Chili and burial took place in the Yolo Cemetery.
