Knudson, Margaret (Marriage - 24 Nov. 1938)

Miss Margaret Knudson and Howard Ruth chose Thanksgiving day for their wedding day. They were married at 2 p.m. at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Knudson, at Atwood. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ruth of Appleton.

The Rev. M. K. Aaberg of Greenwood performed the ceremony in the presence of immediate relatives and friends, after which a dinner was served.

The bride, who has been employed at Appleton for three or four years, wore a dark green dress and a shoulder corsage. The couple’s only attendants were Miss Mabel Thompson and Carl Richmond, both of Appleton.

Mr. Richmond sang several selections during the services.

After a wedding trip to Milwaukee, the young couple will be at home in Appleton, where the groom is employed as a millwright.
