On Christmas day in 1905 she was united in marriage to Otto Kalsow, also of Weston Township, at the Globe Lutheran Church by Rev. H. Brandt. They established their home in Neillsville where Mr. Kalsow worked at various occupations for a number of years, and for the past 16 years he has been employed on the section.

Mrs. Kalsow was a good friend and neighbor, loyal to her home and faithful to her church. She was an active member of the Ladies’ Aid of St. John’s Lutheran church and was a charter member of that organization when it was reorganized in 1909.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, Otto Kalsow; six sisters and two brothers, namely: Anna, Mrs. Julius Belter, Weston; Bertha, Mrs. Robert Manthei, Weston; Ida, Mrs. John Wasserberger, Neillsville; August, Mrs. William Storm, Granton; Helene, Mrs. D. F. Gile, Whitewater, California; Marie, Mrs. Albert Kalsow, Neillsville; George Hoffmann of Hope, British Columbia, Canada, and Herman Hoffmann, San Fernando, California. One sister and five brothers preceded her in death.

German services were held at the home at 1:30 Thursday afternoon and English services at 2 o’clock at St. John’s Lutheran church, Rev. Wm. A. Baumann, officiating. Mrs. Arthur Jaster sang" Let Me Be Thine Forever." Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Claude Westphal, Frank Hemp, Harry Roehrborn, Henry Bartell, Henry Naedler and W. F.
