Behrens, Otto C. (16 Feb. 1863 - 1938)

Funeral services for Otto C. Behrens, 75, long-time resident of Clark County who died at his home in Greenwood early Tuesday morning following an illness of two years, were held in Greenwood this afternoon.

The services were conducted by the Rev. Gaylord at the resident at 1:30 p.m. and in the Methodist church at 2 p.m. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Behrens was born February 16, 1863, in Milwaukee, and later settled in Neillsville with his mother, who later remarried. He married Louise Cummings of Greenwood in Loyal on April 12, 1891. The couple made their home in Greenwood, where they have resided since.

Surviving Mr. Behrens besides his widow are three sons, Clyde and Fred of Greenwood and Carroll of Stevens Point; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Belore of Edmonton, Alberta, and Mrs. Henry Mahar of Neillsville; a brother, Alex, of Greenwood; and five grandsons, Robert, Eugene and Charles of Stevens Point and Douglas and Tommy of Greenwood.
