Johnson, Judi M. (Mrs. Milt) (May 8, 194 1 - August 8, 2006)

Judi M. (Mrs. Milt) Johnson, age 65, of Black River Falls died Tuesday evening, August 8, 2006, in her home under the care of Black River Hospice.

Judi was born May 8, 1941, in Madison to Matt and Blanche (Martin) Larson. In addition to having lived in Madison, she also lived in Toledo, Oregon and Neillsville prior to living in Black River Falls.

She had been employed as a legal secretary at the Paul Bohac Law Office.

Judi loved to sew and was a seamstress for the music departments of the Black River Falls School District, the Jackson-Monroe Dance Theatre and the Falls Players. She was a member of the Lunda Center Morning Mermaids. She and her husband, Milt, enjoyed camping, fishing and going to the family farm in northern Minnesota.

Survivors include her husband, Milt; a daughter, Kimberly (Mark) Thomley of Black River Falls; a son, Ed (Katy) Johnson of Port Washington; four grandchildren, Derek and Trevor Johnson and Paige and Taylor Thomley; and a sister, Marian Dary of Sun Prairie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Walter Evert; and three brothers.

Memorial services were held Saturday, August 12, 2006, at 1 p.m. from the Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls. Burial will be at a later date in the Toimi Cemetery at Toimi, MN. Rev. David Johnson officiated.

Friends and family were invited for visitation at the Buswell Funeral Home (www.buswellfuneralhome.com) Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The family prefers memorials to either Black River Hospice or the Black River Falls High School Music Department for costumes.
