Fossen, Alyce (NOV 1936)

The marriage of Miss Alyce Fossen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Fossen of 4 Beverly court, and Frederick E. Jenni, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Jenni of the Town of Loyal, was solemnized at a quiet service at the Immanuel Lutheran church at 4 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. W. E. Staehling officiating. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Olson.

The bride wore a semi-formal gown of black silk matelasse which was trimmed with white rough crepe and silver filigree buckle and buttons. With this she wore black and white accessories and a shoulder corsage of rosebuds and smilax. Mrs. Olson wore a semi-formal gown of black rough crepe with jeweled clips at the cowl neck and long plaited sleeves. She wore black accessories.

Dinner for the wedding party and the bride’s parents was held at the home of the bride immediately following the ceremony. For the present Mr. and Mrs. Jenni will make their home with the bride’s parents.

Mrs. Jenni, a graduate of the Menomonie High School and of the Dunn Country Rural normal, taught school for three years in Dunn county. Mr. Jenni, a cheesemaker, is employed at Beaver Dam. Waupun News in Fond du Lac Commonwealth-Reporter.
