Gwiazdon, Michael David (February 16, 1972 - June 17, 2006)

Michael David Gwiazdon, age 34 of Chippewa Falls, WI, went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2006.

He was born on February 16, 1972 to Francis and Debra (Acker) Gwiazdon of 305 Rusch St., Thorp, WI. He grew up in Thorp attending area schools graduating from Thorp High School in 1990. He furthered his education at UW-Stout and the Community College of the Air Force. He proudly served his country in the Wisconsin Air National Guard as a Fighter Plane Crew Chief for 15 years and was also employed in the Chippewa Valley. He was a very loving and devoted father to his boys, an avid deer hunter, and loved to ride his motorcycle. He was also a Certified Coach for the Chippewa Valley Hockey Association.

He is survived by his parents, Francis and Debra Gwiazdon of Thorp, WI; two sons, Wyatt (age 7) and Collin (age 5) and one step-son, Austin (age 13); two sisters, Diana (Jason) Mathison of Cornell, WI and Apryl (David) Conner of Jacksonville, FL; maternal grandmother, Genevieve Acker of Stanley, WI; paternal grandmother, Lillian Gwiazdon of Thorp, WI; three nieces, one nephew, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clarence Acker and Frank Gwiazdon. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Covenant Tabernacle at 219 S. Broadway St. in Stanley, WI with interment following at Edson Union Cemetery, Boyd, WI. Friends called Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family with arrangements.
