Hindal, Velma (4 APR 1937)

Mr. Irving Sherman, son of Mrs. Anna Sherman of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) and Miss Velma Hindal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irva Hindal of Sheldon, were united in marriage Sunday afternoon, April 4, 1937, at the home of Rev. and Mrs. H.E. Baughman of Sheldon. The ceremony being performed by Rev. Baughman.

They were attended by Miss Bernice Ames and Mr. Cair Hindal, both of Sheldon.

The bride wore a grey suit with black accessories. The bridesmaid wore a light blue with navy accessories. Both the groom and bridegroom wore navy blue suits.

After the ceremony a six o’clock dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents. The only outside guest were Rev. and Mrs. Baughman.

The bride is a graduate of the Greenwood High School and for the past four years has been employed as saleslady at the Farmers Store. They will reside in Greenwood where the groom is employed as mechanic at the Midway Garage. Both the bride and groom are well known here and have a large circle of friends who join the Gleaner in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
