Lindner, Anna (14 NOV 1936)

A very pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Saturday morning, November 14, at 9:00 o’clock, when Miss Anna Lindner, daughter of Mrs. Anna Lindner, became the bride of Gerald Denk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Denk. Rev. L. Harding officiated at the nuptial high mass.

The bride was gowned in white transparent velvet. Her long veil fell from a cap effect and she carried a bouquet of roses, sweet peas and baby breath. Miss Josephine Schmitz, as bridesmaid, wore a blue velvet dress trimmed in silver and carried a bouquet of roses and chrysanthemums. The groom was attended by his brother Virgil.

Ninety guests were entertained at the bride’s home at dinner and super and in the evening a dance was given at Merry Ol’ Gardens.

The young couple will make their home on the Mons Krogness farm, which the groom is working.

The out of town guests included Rev. Wm. Daniels of Cashton; Mr. Jos. Schober of Tomah; John Gintner and daughter Angeline of Reedsville; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mallman of Kohler; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tuschel and four children, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Krall, Miss Pricilla Baur and Otto Severson, all of Valders.

The Gleaner joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy married life.
