Hosley, Emma Carrie (27 May 1962 - 26 April 1938)

Mrs. Anna Robinson received a telegram Tuesday announcing the death of her sister, Mrs. Loomis Hosley, on April 26, 1938, at her home at Boise, Idaho, following a stroke of paralysis. The body will be brought to this city and laid to rest beside her husband in the Neillsville Cemetery. At this writing burial arrangements were not complete. An obituary will be published later.

Emma Carrie Redmond was born near Solon, Maine, May 27, 1862, and died in Boise, Idaho, April 26, 1938. She came west with her family to Clark County in 1867 where she was married in 1886 to Loomis L. Hoseley. To this union were born five children, Mertie Hoseley Garrett of Bosie, Idaho; Sybil Hoseley Barton, now deceased; Glen Hoseley, Boise, Idaho; Bay Hoseley, deceased in infancy; Searl Hoseley of McGregor, Iowa. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Mary Churchill, Salem, Oregon, and Mrs. Anna Robinson of Neillsville, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family moved to Boise, Idaho, from Clark County in 1904 where Mrs. Hoseley has since re-resided.

Funeral services were held in Boise April 28 and the body was brought to Neillsville for burial from the Lowe Funeral May 1, and laid to rest beside her husband in the Neillsville Cemetery, who preceded her in death in 1909.

Glen Hoseley of Boise, Searl Hoseley of McGregor, Iowa, Mrs. Mary Redmond and Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Ketchem of Minneapolis, were here to attend the funeral.
