Hollister, Nellie (1876? - 30 Jan. 1938)

Mrs. Nellie Hollister, 61, passed away Sunday morning at 4 o’clock at the Emergency Hospital, Milwaukee, after a brief illness with heart trouble, the body being brought to Neillsville by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Wright, of Chicago.

Mrs. Hollister (nee Nellie Young) was married at Marshfield to Guy Hollister and lived there for a time, later residing at Thorp and Milwaukee. Mr. Hollister of the Hollister Lumber Co., preceded his wife in death in the year 1909.

Deceased was a member of St. John’s Cathedral Parish of Milwaukee. Her lovely Christian character was evident in her daily great faculty for making and holding friends.

Left to mourn the untimely departure of a loving daughter, sister and mother are her aged maternal parent, Mrs. Annie Young of Minneapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Wright, Chicago; three sisters and a brother, Mrs. H. O. Brown, Minneapolis; Mrs. L. J. Crago, Merrillan; Mrs. C. V. Moe, Minneapolis; and William Young, Hollywood, Calif., an aunt Mrs. Nora Trogner of this city and a host of other relatives.

Complying with the wishes of the deceased, the funeral will be conducted at 9 o’clock Thursday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church here, Interment taking place in the Catholic Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Crago, Mrs. Moe and Mrs. Ethel Hoganson of Chili are here for the rites.
