Frank, Nancy Louise (10 Nov. 1871 - 1 Jan. 1938)

Nancy Louise Frank, daughter of John and Elizabeth McVey, was born at Boscobel, Wis. on Nov. 10, 1871, and died at her home in Neillsville at 5:40 p.m. on Jan. 1, 1938 at the age of 66 years, 2 months and 21 days. Her death was caused by heart ailment, from which she suffered for about three hours.

She was united in marriage to Loren Frank and was a resident of Clark County for 35 years.

She is survived by her husband and the following children; Mrs. Perry (Genevieve) Hahm, of Lindsay; Raymond and Clifford of Neillsville, Harold, whose address is unknown, and two step-children, George Shaw of Neillsville, and Mrs. Roy Beckman of West Allis. She is also survived by two brothers, John McVey of Muscoda, Wis., and Thomas McVey of Kansas, City, Kan., and one sister, Esther, of Kansas City. A number of grandchildren also survive.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Frank was a quiet, home loving woman, devoted to the interests of her family and was a great lover of gardening and especially fond of flowers.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the Schiller Funeral Home at 2 o’clock from the Reformed Church, Rev. Wilson Bixler officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Frank was a member of the Royal Neighbors and Woman’s Relief Corps.

Those from away who attended the funeral are: Mrs. Roy Beckman and daughter, Irene, of West Allis; Mr. and Mrs. Perry Hahm, Lindsay; Mrs. Pete Reynolds and son, Frank, St. Croix Falls; and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hewitt, Herman Hahm and Mrs. Alfred Bentz of Lindsay.

The pallbearers were: George Zimmerman, William Ruchaber, Abel Harding, Ferdinand Hrach, Charles Auman, Cleve Evans.
