H.A. King returned home from Fond du Lac last week. He reports good sleighing down there.

Oh, the grip, how it hangs on here!

S.W. Bolton is very sick, and his whole family have been down with the grip but most of them are getting out.

Abel Turner is very sick. The doctor from Loyal has been attending him, and he thinks that Mr. Turner can not get well. William Turner is out of camp helping to care for his father.

W.H. Smithers was able to get out to the store this week, the first for some time.

Oscar Hall, from Sheboygan County, was in our town one day last week looking for land.

Mrs. J.W. Johnson, and old resident of York, but now of Millbank, South Dakota, is visiting her sisters, Mrs. Windover, Mrs. J. Steinfeldt and Mrs. George Campbell.
