The home of Mrs. Tillie Georgas was the scene of a quiet wedding on Monday evening, October 29, at 7:30 when she was united in marriage to Mr. Blaine Swartout. The Rev. A. C. Stapel performing the ceremony in the presence of immediate relatives.
They were attended by Dr. and Mrs. H. T. Callahan.
The bride wore a dress of green rough crepe. Both contracting parties are well known in this vicinity. The bride having been in business in Spencer for the past 10 years. The groom is an electrician and formerly lived in Loyal.
Mr. and Mrs. Swartout left Wednesday morning on a trip to Chicago and Detroit and will be at home in Spencer after November 5.
