On July 23rd, 1859, he was married to Miss Sarah Bullen at Trenton, Wis. To this union were born eight children, six sons and two daughters: Wallace of Lewiston, Mont.; George of Wausau, Wis.; Harvey of Unity, Wis.; Fred, deceased; Mrs. Frank Wicker of Unity, Wis.; Mrs. Chas. Mr. Wescott’s character was of scrupulous honesty and he was a lover of right in all things. His absence will be most keenly felt by those who knew him best and loved him most. Steadfastly loyal to the last to flag and country, he has fallen out of the ranks of his comrades here below to join those of the great beyond.
