Funeral services was held for Aaron only son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schweiger on Saturday morning June 16 at 9 o’clock at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Rev. A. J. Aurit officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Aaron John Schweiger was born on a farm near Loyal November 21, 1899. When nine years old he came with his parents to Loyal which has since been his home.

Fourteen years ago while painting a barn on a farm in Pelsdorf, the scaffold broke and he fell 35 ft. to the ground, landing on a pile of rock. He suffered a broken back and injuries from which he never recovered and since that time has been confined to his bed. For the past eight years he has not been able to sit up. During these invalid years he has been cared for by his mother. He was a patient sufferer and always appreciated any thoughtfulness and kindness shown him by friends. He was of a quiet disposition with a cheery smile for everyone with whom he came in contact. His memory will long be cherished by those who knew him best. He leaves to mourn his lose, his parents, one sister Mrs. George Bentzler, three nieces, five nephews, besides other relatives and friends.

The following were pall bearers: Christ Bentzler, Joe Miller, Verne and Philip Beaver, Dale Hawley and Arthur Klimmer.
