Ploeckelman, Donna M. (Luebke) (22 MAR 1938 - 2 MAY 2019)

Donna M. Ploeckelman, age 81, of Dorchester, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Aspirus Care and Rehabilitation in Medford under the tender care of hospice.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. The Rev. Donald Bruce will preside. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Donna was born on March 22, 1938, the daughter of Herbert and Bernice (Snyder) Luebke, Sr. in Waupaca. On August 19, 1961, Donna was united in marriage to Kenneth “Tippy” Ploeckelman. He preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 2018.

Donna loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was a skilled cake decorater. Donna also enjoyed riding with her husband in his semi-truck.

Donna is survived by her two sons: Jim (Deb) of Athens and John (Dawn) of Medford; seven grandchildren: Danielle (Darren) Bornbach, Mandi (Mike) Troiber, Joey, Jesse, Lewis, Jason and Derek; and six great-grandchildren: George, Graci, Jack, Ella, Libby and Rhiley. She is further survived by her sister, Betty McKown of Portland, Ore.; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Marie; her grandson, Duwayne; her sister, Kathryn Raedke; and her two brothers, Herbert Luebke, Jr. and her twin brother, Donald Luebke.
