Korth, Ernest R. (14 November 1897 – 2 June 1975)

Memorial services will be held July 5 in Neillsville for Ernest R. Korth, former Neillsville businessman, who died in Colorado Springs, Co., June 2.

The serviced will be held in St. John’s Lutheran Church, of which Mr. Korth was a member, at 2 p.m.

Mr. Korth, who was 77, owned and operated the West Side Food Market here for 19 years, leaving in 1969. He and Mrs. Korth, a former Neillsville teacher, had resided in Colorado Springs near the homes of two daughters for the last six years.

He was born November 14, 1897, in Spencer, where he married the former Margaret Holzem.

Surviving are, Mrs. Korth who lives at 3906 Encino Drive, Colorado Springs, Co. 809218; a son, Del L., of Racine; two daughters: Mrs. Marilyn Nicholas and Mrs. Virginia (Britten) Dodgen, both of Colorado Springs; two sisters: Mrs. Minnie Oelrich of Spencer, and Mrs. Louise Cramer of Owen; and eight grandchildren.
