Seidelmann, Susie (29 MAR 1852 - 1 NOV 1933)

Susie nee Hager, was born at Ober-Franken Bavaria Germany on the 29th day of March 1852. In early infancy she was baptized in the name of the Triune God and then later instructed in the doctrines of the Christian religion and confirmed in the Ev. Luth. Church, to which Church she remained a faithful member. When 28 years of age she left her native land and came to the U. S. A, locating in Jefferson, Wis., where she remained until 1897 when she moved to Clark County moving onto a farm in the Town of York.

On the 3rd day of Sept. 1875, she was married to Michael Seidelmann, which union was blessed with six children. Six months ago, her husband preceded her to eternity. About two months ago the deceased had the misfortune of falling and breaking her leg, to this other complications followed which caused her death. On Wednesday afternoon Nov. 1st, she was quietly and peaceably called out of this world by a blessed death as we have all reason to believe and attained the age of 81 years, 7 months and two days. She leaves to mourn her departure six sorrowing children, viz: Henry Seidelmann of Pine Valley; John Seidelmann, of Hoquiam, Wash., Mrs. Barbara Greely of Hoquiam, Wash., M. J. Seidelmann of Loyal; Mrs. Lily Anderegg of the Town of York and William Seidelmann of the Town of York, also 30 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, besides numerous other relatives and a host of friends who have our hearts sympathy in their bereavement.

Funeral services were held from Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Saturday afternoon, Rev. H. F. Leschensky officiating. Interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery.

The pall bearers were six grand daughters: Mrs. Fred Jacobi, Miss Alma Anderegg, Mrs. Russel Gross, Miss Rose Seidelmann, Miss Velma Seidelmann and Mrs. Tony Weeding.

Six grandsons had charge of the flowers. They were Edwin Anderegg, Irvin Anderegg, Harold Seidelmann, Walter Seidelmann, Rueben Anderegg and Romaine Seidelmann.
