Twin Cities to Twin Cities - Minneapolis and St. Paul to Marinette and Menominie,
straight across the State of Wisconsin, there should be built a federal trunk
line highway, providing opportunity for rapid automobile travel from the Upper
Mississippi to Upper Lake Michigan.
A route such as it proposed would pass, traveling eastward, through Hudson and
new Richmond, Bloomer, Medford, Merrill and Antigo.
A number of existing roads would form part of it, but some new construction
would be required, particularly through western Oconto county.
