An evening wedding was solemnized at the Ev. Lutheran Zion Church, Wednesday, Nov. 19th, 1913, at 7:30 by Rev. Hartenstein, when Miss Anna Barkow of the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., and Walter Bruss of Athens, were united in marriage. The attendants of the young couple were Hubert Bruss and Hattie Lubke, Athens; Wm. Barkow, Colby, and Mary Stangle, Marshfield. After the ceremony, the wedding party, friends and relatives, repaired to the bride’s home, where a splendid supper was served. The newly wedded pair left on the limited for a visit to the Twin Cities, and upon their return will live in Athens, the groom’s home town.
