The Junction City correspondent to the Stevens Point Gazette says:

"Word came to friends here that Reinhold Braun of Colby and Miss Lena Skibba of Junction City, Wis. were united in marriage April 7th at Seattle, Wash., at the Catholic Parsonage. The bride is the oldest daughter of Jacob Skibba and for the past nine or ten years had clerked in her father’s general store. Mr. Braun is an ambitious young man. For a year he was employed by C.J. Heun in this village as cheesemaker, later going to Marshfield and worked for C.E. Blodgett. The young couple has a host of friends who wish them success, health and happiness."

When Reinhold left for Seattle, a few weeks ago, we knew he was contemplating matrimony. He promised….(the rest of my copy was cut off)
