Cole, Judy Ann (29 MAY 1971)

Miss Judy Ann Cole of New Richmond and Alvin Francis Amacher, Abbotsford, were united in marriage before the Rev. W. James Krueger, Saturday, May 29, 1971, at 3 p.m. in St. Luke's Church, New Richmond.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John Cole, 1009 S. Riley, New Richmond, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Amacher, 610 Hickory, Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.).

Miss Linda Larson was the organist for the ceremony and James Forster sang "The Lord's Prayer."

Escorted to the altar by her father, Linda wore a white empire waisted floor length gown of chiffon over taffeta with long sleeves. Her veil was attached to a half cap headpiece and flowed into a cathedral length train. She carried a bouquet of yellow daisies.

The maid of honor, Miss Mary Hostvet, New Richmond, and the bridesmaid, Mrs. Lawrence Michlig of Appleton, wore yellow floor length gowns of dotted Swiss with daisy trim. They carried bouquets of white daisies and wore a band of daisies in their hair.

The groom's brother-in-law, Lawrence Michlig of Appleton, served as best man. Bruce Cole of New Richmond was the groomsman. The guests were seated by Dale Strege of New Richmond and Lloyd Amacher, Marshfield..

A reception and dinner followed the ceremony.

The new Mrs. Amacher graduated from New Richmond High School in 1969 and attended Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire for two years.

Her husband is a 1969 graduate of Abbotsford High School and attended Wisconsin state University, Eau Claire, previous to his enlistment in the Air Force. He is presently stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas.
