Weyhmiller, Armelia (Marriage - 15 June 1936)

At high noon Monday, June 15, at the rectory of St. Anthony’s church, Loyal, Armelia Weyhmiller daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Weyhmiller of Loyal and Mr. Robert L. Rossman, Eau Claire, son of Mr. A. P. Rossman of Loyal repeated their marriage vows after the Rev. A. J. Aurit.

Immediately following the ceremony a large number of wedding guests assembled at St. Anthony’s Auditorium for a reception given by the bride’s parents. The auditorium was decorated to represent a beautiful garden scene. A color scheme of pink, blue and white was carried out in harmony with the entire bridal party. A huge wedding cake served as a center place at the bridal table.

Pink mouseline de sole tunic style of floor length with matching slippers and a pink lace turban with a shoulder length veil was selected by the bride and she carried a lace edged colonial bouquet of roses, sweet peas, and swansdown.

The bridesmaids were Kathryn Rossman sister of the groom and Ruth Lucht. Their long frocks were the sheer organza in a delicate shade of blue. They wore dainty silver head bands and wrist corsages of mixed sweet peas, baby breath and swansdown.

Mr. Dale Weyhmiller, brother of the bride and Mr. Kenneth Weyhmiller cousin of the bride were Mr. Rossman’s best men.

After graduating from the Loyal High School in 1929 the bride attended Central State Teachers College, Stevens Point where she completed the primary course and pledged the Omega Mu Chi Sorority. For the past five years has been a successful teacher.

Mrs. Rossman is a graduate of the Michigan State School of Mechanical Dentistry and is engaged as a Dental Technician at Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

After a wedding tour to Detroit and Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Rossman will be at home at 314, 5th Ave., Eau Claire.

Bowen, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. James Pugh, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Taylor, Black River Falls; Mr. John Crossen, Mrs. Edw. Crossen, Mrs. Mary Fletcher, Mrs. Kathryn Randal, Tommy and Betty Randal, Charles Taylor, Mr. Spencer West, Mrs. Ella Wagnes, all of Sparta.
